AIRE is a Seoul-based art and culture company. We bring international exhibitions to audiences in Korea and Asia, and develop cultural programmes of our own.
What we do
Securing the works. Agreeing loan and licensing terms. Moving a collection across borders and installing it. Keeping a rights holder in Paris and an organiser in Seoul on the same schedule.
Our scope changes from one project to the next, so each project page states the role we held rather than describing it in general.
Alongside that, we develop programmes of our own.

Sourcing & licensing
Finding the works and agreeing the terms: loan negotiation with museums, foundations, estates and private collections, and the licences covering reproduction, merchandise and publicity.

Exhibition planning & international coordination
Curatorial planning on the Korean side, and the coordination that keeps a rights holder abroad and an organiser at home working to one schedule. Approvals, exhibition materials, transport, customs and installation sit here.

Spatial & audience experience
How a show is laid out and what an audience does inside it: sequence, flow, media content, and where the story turns. For exhibitions, and for brand and corporate spaces.

Original programme development
Formats developed in-house, with the rights structure and the operating model built in from the start so they can be run somewhere else.
